Numerical analysis on wavelength-switchable lasers with inhomogeneous and homogeneous line broadening media

Abstract

An improved simulation model of switchable dual-wavelength laser has been proposed, with which the different stabilization behaviors with dual-wavelength lasers based on inhomogeneous and homogeneous active media has been analyzed. The numerical results can well explain these actual switching behaviors of a dual-wavelength fiber switchable laser.
