The dependence of fossil fuels have been greatly reduced with the use of renewable energy for electricity supply. Solar energy is the major source of renewable energy as it is available free of cost. But again the solar radiations are diffuse in nature hence the amount of radiations required to get a particular amount of energy is less. Hence several methods are used to concentrate this radiations on the solar panel. Mostly concentrators and reflectors are used to focus the diffuse radiation on to the panel. This will increase the amount of photons striking the panel and help in photo conduction. The paper discusses the importance of reflectors for increasing the solar module efficiency. Abstract

Photovoltaic industry is one of the promising industry for proving an alternate source of energy. The dependence of fossil fuels have been greatly reduced with the use of renewable energy for electricity supply. Solar energy is the major source of renewable energy as it is available free of cost.
