Abstract

This paper presents a study that aims to determine the effect of different drive modes (acceleration, deceleration, cruising) on the energy consumption (EC) of an electric auto rickshaw (e-rickshaw). The performance tests for the e-rickshaw were conducted on-road as well as on chassis dynamometer which followed a new drive cycle.
