Degree of mastery of ICT in the students of the Master of Tourism of the University of Huelva

Abstract

In such a competitive labor market for young people, it is necessary for them to acquire the skills that the labor market requires. Thus, from the Master of Tourism of the University of Huelva, it is intended to make an analysis of the mastery of the competences of its students. In this specific case, the domain of ICT skills, since the degree of computerization of the hotel sector (where most of its students enter to work at the end of their studies) is quite high. This analysis is developed through a questionnaire made to 21 students in the last year of the master's degree and concludes that in general terms they give the importance they deserve to these ICT competences and that their mastery goes in parallel (except for some competences that show a training need), although there is no evidence of a link between the two.
