This study is secondary data based and relevant data has been collected from reports of economic surveys GOI, World Bank reports, news papers, SOP’s issued time to time by Ministry Home Affair and Health and Family Welfare, GOI, journals and websites. Macroeconomic indicators (GDP, Unemployment, inflation rate etc.) have been used to analyze and interpret data to fulfill the objectives of the study. Of course, Government measures have mitigated the effect of pandemic significantly, but more efforts are required to heal the damage of COVID 19 completely. Abstract
