Abstract
At times of natural or man-made disaster the conventional systems (cellular or landline links) are harmed and don't provide sufficient communication facilities to responders due to lack of reliability and interoperability. In this situation, wireless ad-hoc networks are promising alternatives to provides emergency data transfer with low cost. This paper uses Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN) framework under different situations and proposed system model. This paper improves the system performance using different parameters viz. average packet delivery ratio, average throughput, average jitter, and average end-to-end delay. Here, three routing protocols viz. Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol, Zone Routing Protocol (ZRP), and Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) has been considered and also find out the good protocol that can be implemented when the cellular network fails.
