Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dekriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri kota Cilegon. Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap ABSTRACT The ability to think creatively in mathematics is an ability that can help students understand mathematics learning which is considered difficult to become easier, because by thinking creatively students can solve mathematical problems using their own way. In addition to cognitive abilities, other factors that can affect student learning activities are affective abilities, one of which is self-regulated learning. Self-regulated learning is an ability that students must have to make students more independent in carrying out mathematics learning activities. This study was conducted to analyze the students 'ability in mathematical creative thinking in terms of students' self-regulated learning. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class VII SMP Negeri in Cilegon City. This research procedure includes the preparation stage, the research implementation stage, the data analysis stage, and the research report preparation stage.
