Abstract

This paper describes the UAV airspace's radio environment's evaluation results in the 920MHz and 2.4GHz band at the urban and the bay area. The radio environment measurement has been set up at a multistory building in Tokyo's metropolitan area (Shinjuku) and a giant Ferris Wheel in the bay area. The measurement results show that the urban area radio environment was distinct from the bay area. Especially, the CDF of 2.4 GHz band shows time-dependent at Shinjuku Building. This result found that Wireless LAN use is a significant factor in the 2.4 GHz band.
