This device evaluates the spatial coordinates of the radio signal sources, and then calculates the corresponding complex weight generating the beam pattern with the main lobe pointed to each source place. All work takes place in a block of digital signal processing implemented on elementary computing units, such as complex multipliers and adders. Abstract

Currently, there is a need to develop a digital antenna array because of the increasing demands placed on wireless telecommunications systems. The use of digital antenna arrays allows obtaining an opportunity for multiple beam patterns in given directions.
