Abstract

We provide a thorough description of all the artifacts that are generated by the messenger application Telegram on Android OS. We also provide interpretation of messages that are generated and how they relate to one another. Based on the results of digital forensics investigation and analysis in this paper, an analyst/investigator will be able to read, reconstruct and provide chronological explanations of messages which are generated by the user.
