Abstract

The optical gas sensor has been developed with an infrared sensor that has a Fabry-Perot interferometer (FPI) and pyroelectric detector. The sensor module showed a distinct output voltage patterns according to the injected gases and also combinations of them. As a result of principal component analysis (PCA), the developed sensor could be the potential candidate of an electronic nose consisted of solid state physical components.
