Abstract

The architecture of objects in the steel structure results directly from the adopted structural and technological solutions. The form and aesthetics of columns, beams and trusses becomes an important element in shaping both the interior of the building and its external structure. Transparency of structural elements in comparison to masonry or reinforced concrete structures diversifies the form of the object, strengthens its reception, intrigues and stimulates the observer's imagination. In view of the scale of objects in the steel structure, implemented in the vicinity of urban areas as well as directly within cities, their architecture and construction will influence the shape of the cultural and natural environment more and more.
