In this paper, based on the requirement of large-scale logistics environment, a 2-D barcode dynamic recognition system is developed which is capable of detecting and reading 2-D barcodes in motion. To evaluate and recognize 2-D barcodes in motion, the relation function of digital image gray value and physical reflectance is basically established. Furthermore, for practical purpose, a 2-D barcode positioning software is built to rotate 2-D barcodes in images. Besides, the symbol contrast and the modulation ratio of a single QR code are calculated.
