Abstract

Nowadays studies show that when layers of dielectric superstructures are placed above a microstrip patch antenna, changes in its gain and resonant characteristics are observed. Thus, this paper investigates the effect of the height of the superstrate above the antenna by simulation, obtained using High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software that is the commercial tool used here for microwave structures design.
