Based on this concept, social vulnerability, the trivialization of human life and how deaths from mythanasia became even more evident in the COVID-19 pandemic scenario were discussed, especially when the analysis of the number of deaths from mythanasia points out, in its the majority, the vulnerable. Finally, an analysis is made of the crisis experienced by the Brazilian public health system and the role of the State in face of its precariousness, which was already a reality even before the arrival of the virus. The methodology used is qualitative, through bibliographical research and study of legislation and jurisprudence that cover the subject.
