Abstract
In India due to diversified topography, it is impossible to satisfy the power demands through conventional energy resources. Therefore, many engineers & scientists are trying to establish an effective technique which can substitute existing energy systems i.e. coal energy. It has been proven that solar energy has the potential to fulfil the energy requirement of rural and urban regions of India. Earlier a simulation based design has been carried out for a 50 kWp solar PV system for village-Pathrota addressed at Madhya Pradesh. In this study, a solar grid-connected PV system which has a capacity of 65 kWp has been done via PVsyst tool version 7.2.12 for countryside in Garhwa district of Jharkhand, India. The latitude and longitude of the sites are 24.27° North & 83.48° East respectively. The entire analysis is based on seasonal tilt angles for the proposed site. The performance ratio for the designed system is 76.15 % as per selected geographical location, which is quite satisfactory. Further, suggested solar-cell system produces satisfactory amount of energy i.e. 98.36 MWh/year. The specific production is 1511 kWh/kWp/year for the proposed methodology. Based on the experimental study & data, it is found that the suggested PV system has the capability to fulfil the required load demands with great efficiency & reliability.
