GRAU DE INOVAÇÃO DAS MICRO E PEQUENAS EMPRESAS: UMA ANÁLISE SOB A ÓTICA DO RADAR DE INOVAÇÃO

Abstract

Innovation is increasingly present in organizations and one of the main reasons for the implementation of this concept is the increase in competitiveness in companies and because it is being widely explored scientifically. However, micro and small enterprises (MSEs) are the organizations that have the most difficulties in innovating. In this way, this article aims to highlight the importance of innovation for micro and small enterprises by presenting the degree of innovation of a microenterprise that participated in the Local Innovation Agents ALI project, from 2009 to 2011. From a quantitative-qualitative approach for the exploratory-descriptive purpose, the questionnaire developed by Bachmann & Associated with 13 dimensions that measure innovation was applied, resulting also in the Innovation Radar. The results show that the degree of innovation of the enterprises fell compared to the results of eight years ago, however, the average obtained is still high for a microenterprise.
