Facebook, Wikipedia, Twitter, WhatsApp, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Reddit are some of the most popular social media sites. These are not only social networking sites but also places where people can divulge personal information to the public and the community. Additionally, business owners sell their products on social media and profit from crowdfunding. Data analytics gather and analyze social networking platform data, enabling businesses to make wise decisions. Students and young people are greatly impacted by social media, which influences their consideration of human nature and the inadvertent development of fanaticism and avarice. Therefore, social media is used to both elevate and degrade people from all walks of life. This study shows the positive and negative impact of social media on youth in different sectors.
