Abstract

An electronically controlled M16 rifle simulator, integrated a control box and an infrared laser device had been successfully integrated to a shooting virtual reality as an all-in-one solution in this study. This system is shown to provide a flexible, cost-effective and safe environment. It is an effective educational tool used in defense industry to assist soldiers in shooting skill improvement, or provide players an immersive shooting experience in the virtual reality game industry.
