Estimation of conditions of digital transformation based on innovation susceptibility of the economy of the region

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the current state of the innovation susceptibility of the Russian regions and identify limitations for the realization of the benefits of digital transformation. The article considers the innovation susceptibility of the regional economy as a condition for its digitalization, suggests a methodology for assessing the innovation susceptibility of the regional economy, assesses the innovation susceptibility of individual areas of the Central Black Earth region and identifies problems of digital transformation. The purpose of the assessment is to identify the influence of various factors on the innovation susceptibility of the regional economy and the pace of its digital transformation.
