Furthermore, from the perspective of the contrastive studies of Paratactic Chinese language and Hypotactic English language, the author puts forward corresponding methods or techniques for solution to the problems, namely, conversion of Topic-prominent sentence into Subject-prominent one , assigning appropriate class, number and determinative to a noun, appropriate use of pronoun, esp. demonstrative pronoun, assigning appropriate tense, aspect and mood to a finite verb, appropriate choice of adverb of time and conjunctive of time, change of a linear-structure characterized by arrangement of verbs in sequential order into a tree-structure by assigning certain verb(s) as predicate verb(s) and conversion of some others into noun, adjective, preposition or adverb, or into non-finite verb form. 研究生汉英翻译中常见问题的解决方法
作者根据自己多年的教学实践,将研究生汉英翻译中常见的问题分为四类:主谓不一致、名代词指称错误、时格指称错误、有限动词形式过度使用。进而,笔者从汉语意合语与英语形合语的对比研究角度,提出了相应的解决问题的方法或技巧,即:将主题突出句转化为主题突出句,给名词赋予适当的类、数、定语,适当使用代词,特别是指示代词,给限定动词赋予适当的时态、体和语气。适当选择时间副词和时间连接词,改变线性结构,将动词按顺序排列成树状结构,指定某些动词作为谓语动词,将其他动词转换为名词、形容词、介词或副词,或转换为非有限动词形式。希望本文的研究能对汉英翻译教学和翻译实践有所帮助。
