Topical issues of ensuring the rights and security of citizens of the Russian Federation

Abstract

Анализируются результаты деятельности Следственного комитета Российской Федерации последних лет по раскрытию и расследованию тяжких и особо тяжких преступлений, защите интересов несовершеннолетних и других социально уязвимых слоев населения, по противодействию коррупции и пресечению проявлений экстремизма и терроризма. С начала проведения специальной военной операции особое внимание ведомство уделяет расследованию преступлений, совершенных украинским режимом против гражданского населения Украины и Донецкой и Луганской народных республик. Кроме того, одним из важнейших направлений деятельности Следственного комитета Российской Федерации в настоящее время является защита прав беженцев, прибывающих с Донбасса и Украины. The author analyzes the results of recent years’ activities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in detection and investigation of grave and especially grave crimes, protection of interests of minors and other socially vulnerable population groups, counteracting corruption and suppression of extremism and terrorism. Since the start of the special military operation, the agency has paid particular attention to the investigation of crimes committed by the Ukrainian regime against the civilian population of Ukraine and the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics. In addition, one of the most important activities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation at present is the protection of the rights of refugees arriving from Donbas and Ukraine.
