Abstract
Reasoning about software architecture helps to improve design of applications. According to most of the software architects, architecture design has to be separated in different viewpoints. Nonetheless the transition between two viewpoints is not easy. In the DASIBAO methodology based on RM-ODP (Reference Model for Open Distributed Processing), there is a gap in the process to turn a functional architecture into a technical one. This paper presents a new concept, called architectural figure, which describes how to add technical concerns in a functional architecture and the mechanism to perform this transformation.
