Abstract

. Today’s operation of agricultural machines is still characterised by the use of fossil fuels. In the future, all-electric agricultural machines can be used, whose energy requirements must be covered by local renewable energies or the power grid. The occurrence of limit value violations in the power grid can slow down and hinder this change in agricultural operations. For this reason, this paper describes the modelling and simulation of all-electric agricultural machines, renewable energy systems and rural power grids and the evaluation of suitable energy supply strategies for the machines and needed in-vestments in the power grid.
