It has been shown that NOMA schemes based on low code rate implementation are poised to offer a robust performance in highly interfered scenarios. The performance of NOMA in single cell deployment has been well studied; however, most studies on NOMA have not considered the performance in a practical multi-cell NR deployment. In this paper, we present our system-level performance evaluation results of an IDMA-based NOMA transmission in a typical NR deployment intended for use in massive Machine Type Communication (mMTC) scenarios.
