MELHORIA DA PRODUTIVIDADE NO PROCESSO DE DECORAÇÃO DE REVESTIMENTOS CERÂMICOS POR MEIO DO PDCA

Abstract

The special manufactured parts become a fundamental factor for the ceramic tile sector, as these are sold most of the time as a complement. The third firing consists of a technique that needs a lot of care, as the most important thing in the decoration is the details and a large part of the production is carried out manually. Due to this, the objective of this study is to identify the causes of stoppages in the decoration line in order to reduce them considerably. The methodology used was based on the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action), which has been successfully used by several companies in order to ensure continuous and systematic improvement in order to standardize existing processes in an organization. The results obtained indicate a reduction of 21.2% in the loss of productivity in the third firing decoration line after the implementation of the planned actions, allowing to identify the importance of the methodology since it contributed to minimize the problems that occurred during production.
