The revised Swiss Rules: providing for modern solutions in arbitration

Abstract

On 1 June 2021, the revised Swiss Rules of International Arbitration entered into force3. The new Swiss Rules do not constitute a radical change, but a rather light refinement of the existing provisions. They especially take into account tendencies of digitalisation and provide for refined provisions concerning multi-party and multi-contract arbitration making Swiss arbitration fit for the future.
