Abstract
A technique for combined design of the Wilkinson and the Gysel power divider is presented. Close-form design equations are obtained by analysis of the proposed structure. It is shown through a careful simulation study that at one hand a good bandwidth compared to the Gysel is obtained for the proposed combined structure, at other hand a higher power handling capability is also achieved while utilizing only one grounded resistor.
