Abstract
Device-to-Device (D2D) communication allow the users in proximity to communicate directly, without relay the data through the Base Station (BS). However, in case the users not in proximity to each other the data have been relaying hop by hop to reach user destination. In the multi-hop network, a number of the intermediate nodes used to deliver the data from source to destination. However, the routing decision in a multi-hop network is a critical issue. in this work, the routing decision is taken by a centralised node for a given cell. this paper review a number of centralised multi-hop routing scheme for D2D communication. several experiments are conducted to evaluate the multi-hop routing scheme (reactive and proactive) under different condition and cases. the simulation results show that the number of nodes has an effect on the number of control message exchanged in the network. Moreover, choosing the routing mode on the BS has an effect on the resource consumption on the Base Station.
