Market design for electricity ensuring operational flexibility

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identify electricity market design (architecture) ensuring future power system operational flexibility with increasing volume of intermitted generation, by defining the Market Role and interaction between Market Actors, taking into account current structural changes and representation of power system.
