Abstract
In this study, we develop a novel multi-sensing functional system based on Power-Over-Fiber (POF) technique. This system is characterized by its versatility, ultra low energy harvesting and management and remote equipment low consumption. An unusual energy management unit is designed, applied, and realized ultra-low energy collection. We use gallium arsenide as the photoelectric (PV) conversion unit in the system and design intelligent ultra-low power management unit utilization and management the energy of laser power into electricity. It provides a clever idea to solving power requirement of high consumption sensing equipment and promotes the practical application of the POF technology. To using energy more efficiently, a simulation model based on finite elements has been developed for the photovoltaic system. It presents a comprehensive numerical investigation on the effect of the performance of the photovoltaic cell using COMSOL 5.5 Multiphysics software. In addition, it has been used in water monitoring and data transmission stably for a long time.
