An Automatic Column Welding Test Device Controlled by an Industrial Computer and PLC

Abstract

X-ray nondestructive inspection is an important method for welding quality control. Some tubular parts are still inspected by means of film transmission. This paper introduces the key technology research based on industrial computer and PLC in automatic column welding seam detection device, which involves signal detection and processing, human-computer interaction interface based on LabView, PLC configuration analysis and related research.
