In this paper, qualitative analysis and the free fall of the ball in the vertical direction are used, and then the operation of the ball after being hit is analyzed from the whole. In this paper, the Lagrange conditional extremum method is used to obtain the optimal angle range of the shot. This paper uses the mathematical software maple8 and matlab6.5 to solve the problem through the specific actual data in the volleyball game. Abstract
