Abstract
3D scanning and printing is a tool that can be used in archeology to create a 3D database of historical pieces, to contribute to their preservation. To verify the possibility of carrying out this process in more complex pieces, the skull of a skeleton known as Zuzu was chosen, which presents several damages due to old and recent breaks and which was reconstituted. The skull was scanned and printed, where it was possible to verify in the reproduction several details of the piece, such as fractures and material used in the reconstitution of the piece, showing the efficiency of this technique.
