Adukan mortar biasanya digunakan untuk pasang bata termasuk mortar busa dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan timbunan pekerjaan konstruksi jalan karena mudah dibentuk serta beratnya yang ringan sehingga memudahkan dalam instalasinya. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan dua jenis campuran foaming agent yaitu nabati dan kimiawi. Tujuan penelitian mendapatkan perbandingan nilai flow, berat isi dan kuat tekan bebas (UCS) dari kedua jenis Foaming agent yang digunakan. Beberapa perbandingan foaming agent : air yaitu 1:21, 1:23, 1:25, 1:27 dan 1:29. Berdasarkan spesifikasi SE-PUPR-46-SE-M-2015 campuran foaming agent 1:25 adalah campuran job mis design awal sebagai acuan pada pra penelitian. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa nilai tertinggi flow campuran nabati FA 1:25 FA 1:27 yaitu 18, 20 cm sedangkan nilai terendah pada campuran FA 1:23 FA 1:29 yaitu 18,10 cm sedangkan nilai flow pada campuran foaming agent kimiawi nilai tertinggi pada FA 1:27 FA 1:29 yaitu 18,20 cm, untuk nilai flow terendah pada campuran FA 1:25 yaitu 18,00 cm. Campuran foaming agent nabati 1:29 memiliki nilai berat isi mortar tertinggi yaitu sebesar 781,67 Kg/m3 dan pada campuran FA 1:23 memiliki nilai berat isi mortar terendah yaitu sebesar 764,70 Kg/m3. Pada campuran foaming agent kimiawi pada campuran FA 1:25 memiliki nilai berat isi mortar tertinggi yaitu sebesar 757,06 Kg/m3 dan pada campuran FA 1:21 memiliki nilai berat isi mortar terendah dari kelima campuran yaitu sebesar 755,36 Kg/m3. Nilai rata-rata kuat tekan bebas (UCS) material ringan mortar busa dari pengunaan foaming agent jenis nabati diperoleh campuran 1:29 memiliki nilai tertinggi sebesar 1632,85 kPa dan campuran 1:23 memiliki nilai terendah sebesar 505,80 kPa. Nilai kuat tekan bebas (UCS) mortar busa pengunaan foaming agent jenis kimiawi diperoleh campuran 1:21 memiliki nilai tertinggi sebesar 236,41 kPa dan campuran 1:23 memiliki nilai terendah sebesar 65,97 kPa. In this study, two types of foaming agent mixtures were used, namely vegetable and chemical. The aim of this research is to get a comparison of flow values, bulk density and free compressive strength (UCS) of the two types of foaming agents used. Several ratios of foaming agent: water are 1:21, 1:23, 1:25, 1:27 and 1:29. Based on the specifications of SE-PUPR-46-SE-M-2015 the foaming agent mixture 1:25 is a mixture of initial job mis design as a reference in pre-study. The results showed that the highest value of flow for vegetable mixtures FA 1:25 FA 1:27 was 18, 20 cm, while the lowest value for mixtures of FA 1:23 FA 1:29 was 18,10 cm, while the flow value for a mixture of chemical foaming agents the highest value at FA 1:27 FA 1:29 is 18.20 cm, for the lowest flow value is at FA 1:25 mixture which is 18.00 cm.
