NEW ABBREVIATIONS IN REAL PERIOD OF TIME

Abstract

The article deals with an investigation of new abbreviations in the real period of time, lifeviewed from the cognitive perspective. It demonstrates how the cognitive approach can be applied to analyzing units, the condition trends of their origin and development, novel and modified formal-structural types and discursive features, paying special attention to functioning these words in certain terminological sphere.
