"Our Church will be destroyed, but I see its revival": the factor of Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytsky in the life of the underground UGCC

"Our Church will be destroyed, destroyed by the Bolsheviks. But hold on, do not deviate from the faith, from the holy Catholic Church. The difficult experience that will fall on our church is a wave. I see the revival of our church. It will be more beautiful, more majestic than the ancient one and will embrace our entire nation." (October 31, 1944 B.) Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytsky is an outstanding church, cultural and educational, public figure who had a great influence on Ukrainian society, called them to professional, highly qualified work for their country, was a defender of his people.
