Abstract

The helicopter electrical connector is one of the key components of helicopter. The connector intermittent fault occurs frequently under extreme vibration environment, and cannot be reduplicated under un-service condition. Then the intermittent fault detection is difficult. In order to solve the problem, the internal relationship between extreme vibration stress and contact damage of connector is studied. Three-dimensional coupling model of connector contact damage-vibration stress-intermittent fault symptom is established with the Hidden Markov Model (HMM) and artificial neutral network (ANN). According to the three dimensional model, an electrical connector intermittent fault diagnosis method is proposed. Finally, an experiment is carried out with the helicopter rectangular electric connector, the feasibility and correctness of the research method is verified.
