Abstract

The paper contains analysis of current-carrying capacity of overhead power transmission lines in different weather conditions. Results of calculations are complicated function of temperature of wire, wind speed and insolation. The main aim of the paper is the creation of simple approximate relationships for calculation of current-carrying capacity for different weather conditions.
