APPLIED LINGUISTICS AND THE INTERPRETATION OF RELIGIOUS TEXTS

Abstract

The article presents a pragmatic and textual proposal applied to the analysis of religious texts. For this purpose, Christian texts are examined; specifically, the Gospel of St. Matthew and the works of Richard Rohr. The methodological proposal fields positive results and, of course, confirms the possibility of opening up a field of applications that has been little investigated up to now.
