Living on the Web

Abstract

This paper introduces the third international conference on Web Studies (WS.3), which was held in electronic format in October 2020. We discuss the scientific scope and our understanding of the web as an object of inquiry. We also account for the organizational and logistics challenges in the particular context of the year 2020.
