Abstract

A collaborative multimedia environment (CME) allows users to works remotely on common projects by sharing applications (e.g. CAD tools, text editors, white boards) and simultaneously communicate audiovisually. Several dedicated applications (e.g. MBone tools) exist for transmitting video, audio and data between users.
