Abstract
With the rapid development of distributed generation, microgrid concepts have drawn much attention nowadays. Because of several advantages in efficiency and simplicity such as not having to deal with reactive power, DC microgrid is becoming a new trend in microgrid technology. But DC microgrids have an issue when it comes to voltage controlling. A good controlling method is droop controlling although there are other methods. With the decentralized droop controlling method, there are several ways of voltage controlling but they have an issue of load sharing. Hence the sources can be overloaded sometimes. A method of current sharing according to the SoC level to reduce the issue is proposed theoretically in this paper with simulations.
