The dualistic model of passion and importance of passion for work in the organization is reviewed. Personal and social factors are identified, and the manner by which these factors can be considered and encouraged by organizations is discussed. Finally, the results from a qualitative study, which aimed at identifying how an organization can sustain or improve employee passion for work, are presented.
