Abstract

This research paper utilizes MATLAB/Simulink modeling and simulation to explore the transition of an old vehicle from an internal combustion engine (ICE) to an electric vehicle (EV). The study focuses on a 1970 Volkswagen beetle EV as a case study and evaluates its performance under different operational conditions, including standard and custom driving cycles in Turkey and Jordan (Amman).
