Abstract

This article focuses on the issue of updating current e-Learning courses and transforming them into a format that will be better suited to today's university students. This article presents the results of a questionnaire survey, which was intended to establish student preferences in relation to e-Learning courses and whether these preferences are met by the current courses that these students are studying. The questionnaire survey was supplemented by analysis of student behaviour in individual courses. One effective solution at present seems to be transformation of classic e-Learning courses into MicroLearning. Two e-Learning courses of a technical and non-technical nature were chosen for transformation and will subsequently be tested in a pilot trial. The pilot testing and the process of transformation of the courses is outlined in the article.
