Abstract

Energy storage has been discussed in the electricity industry for many years. Today, energy storage enjoys a growing sense of promise, as many expect it will become a viable part of the electric system over the next decade. However, there are still very real challenges to the cost-effective deployment of storage solutions. The work described in this paper highlights the advantages of techno-economical & operational of energy storage in wind-diesel hybrid system in order to strengthen power networks and maintain load levels. There are various types of storage methods, some of which are already in use, while others are still in development.
