Abstract

This article proposes a space power combiner based on the quasi-optical phase-correcting technology. The combiner consists of a couple of irregular-shaped reflective mirrors, by which the wave generated from waveguide horns can be modulated into a Gaussian-like beam to achieve the space power combining. The deformation of the mirrors is calculated using a modified Katsenelenbaum–Semenov algorithm. Performance of the space power combiner evaluated by simulation, and the results indicate that the power combiner features high efficiency and broad bandwidth.
