Urdu collation sequence

Abstract

This work presents problems in Urdu collation sequences and proposed solutions by experts of Urdu. Key issues regarding Urdu collation sequences on which the major dictionaries differ are presented and a unanimous solution by the experts on these issues is also presented. This effort will make possible a standard Urdu collation sequence and make advanced data processing possible for Urdu.
