Abstract
The increase in the demand for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) has intensified studies which aim to obtain energy-efficient solutions, since the energy storage limitation is critical in those systems. Minimizing energy dissipation and maximizing network lifetime are important issues in the design of applications and protocols for sensor networks. Energy-efficient sensor state planning consists in finding an optimal assignment of states to sensors in order to maximize network lifetime. So that it is important to develop energy efficient solution to keep these networks for the longest period of time. Since, most of the nodes energy spent on data transmission, for that many routing technique has been proposed to expand the network lifetime such as the Online Maximum Lifetime heuristic and capacity maximization. In this project we propose an efficient routing power management heuristic obtain higher life time and increased coverage areas for network systems. In this we divide the node energy into two ratios; one for the sensor node originated data and the other one is data relays from other sensors. In our project, we are going to use the “Artificial bee colony algorithm” along with ERPMT to route the data packets. So, the lifetime of the network get increased when compared with the ABC algorithm alone used for routing the data packets.
